Prasansha Rimal

Prasansha is an associate at Samarthya Legal Concern, with a focused interest in environmental governance, human rights, and conservation law. She holds a B.A. LL.B. from Kathmandu School of Law, where she specialized in environmental and energy law during the final years of her degree. She further completed a master’s in human rights and democratization jointly offered by Mahidol University and the University of Colombo. Gaining interdisciplinary insight into rights-based approaches to governance and development. As part of her master’s thesis, the author conducted empirical field research in the buffer zones of Bardia National Park, engaging directly with communities affected by human–wildlife conflict. Their work brings together legal analysis and field experience to examine the complex intersection of conservation and human rights in Nepal.
